Position Summary

Elevate Ventures continues its international expansion and require a strategic HR champion to integrate our overall business goals within the core function of Human Resources.

The Head of HR will play a pivotal role in identifying and onboarding talent and providing ongoing support to build high-performing teams and empower employees to deliver to their maximum potential – ultimately driving the success of the company.

Integral to the success of this role will be the ability to drive employee engagement and instill a culture of continuous learning and improvement across globally remote teams, developing robust internal communications and building relationships between all internal and external stakeholders.

The nature of our business is one of continuous change, the Head of HR will embody this ethos and be adaptable and flexible enough to ensure the ongoing alignment of all associated HR functions, ultimately creating systems to achieve better organizational performance. The below are just some of the areas that will be impacted by this role:

  • Implementation of an Employer Brand that represents the culture of our business and positions the company as an industry leader.
  • Build and nurture a pipeline of local and international talents to meet the current and future needs of the business, working with internal stakeholders to constantly assess and plan for those ongoing and ever-changing requirements.
  • Develop and deploy robust selection, interview and assessment processes that ensure the growth of high-performing yet diverse and flexible teams.
  • Work with key internal stakeholders to identify high performers, define new requirements and build internal company structure.
  • Cultivate a culture of continuous learning and enhance existing resources by empowering employees to reach their full potential.
  • Grow the HR function into a strategic business partner focused on the overall success of the company and the delivery of key growth targets.
  • Provide HR advisory and consultancy support to key strategic partners and portfolio companies.

The successful individual will embody the core values of Elevate Ventures and whilst it is not essential for them to have all the following skills and experiences, we seek an individual that may encompass some of the following:

  • Entrepreneurial spirit with a passion for learning and preferably some experience working with high-growth startups.
  • Demonstrable human resources experience in building high-performing teams and developing a culture of innovation.
  • Inherent understanding of the local, regional and international talent landscape with some knowledge of international employment and HR legislation.
  • Commercially aware with a strong business acumen, able to provide financial, budgetary and ROI information pertaining to the delivery of the HR function to senior management and key stakeholders.

  • Degree (or equivalent experience) in a HR or related discipline.
  • Preferably a minimum of 5 years in a strategic HR role at a management consulting firm
  • Business unit that focused on HR for clients
  • i.e. HR Business Partner having worked in a modern, technology / digital marketing focused environment.
  • Knowledgeable in the areas of building culture in a high-growth environment across remote / diverse teams.
  • Experience in an international environment hiring and working with individuals from multiple different countries.
  • A high-level of emotional intelligence, self-aware, self-analytical and a critical thinker.
  • Independent, assertive and proactive with the ability to make decisions that have a positive impact on the company as a whole.
  • An understanding of the principles of modern HR process and practice.
